- I am fairly new to programming and I was just wondering: how
- important is computer SCIENCE(ie, the theory, stuff like trees, priority
- queues, quicksort, AVL trees, etc) to industry? I mean, I know it has to
- have some applications, but how often do pro programmers(say, working for
- Microsoft or such) resort to theory?
